The 22nd Annual Summit Hockey Classic is set for

April 5-6, 2019

at the Stephen C. West Ice Arena, Breckenridge

Mark your calendars as this is the biggest fundraiser of the year for Summit Youth Hockey! A much anticipated event year-after-year as celebrities, SYH Alumni, and local community members all come together for one great weekend of hockey and family fun.

The Player Draft wILL BE Held on March 7th, 2019 at The Stinky Boot at Grand Timber Lodge from 6-8pm. Players & SPONSORS only.

Confirmed Celebrities

Berry, Rick	Played five years in the NHL including the Colorado Avalanche, Pittsburg Penguins and Washington Capitals: 2000–04 Played 5 years in the AHL: 2005–09
Boh, Rick	Played for Colorado College: 1983-87 Canadian National Team member and played for the Minnesota North Stars: 1987-88. 5 years playing in Europe.
Bootland, Darryl	Signed for three years as a free agent with the Detroit Redwings. Played 2002 - 2018 in the EHL, CHL and AHL (Final four years with the Colorado Eagles).
Canady, Brian	Played three years in USHL and represented Team USA in 2001 Played four years with University of North Dakota 2001-05
Davis, Nate	Started with the US National team and then played four years with Miami University of Ohio, 2004-2008. Drafted by the Blackhawks and played in the AHL 2008-2010.
Hustead, Taylor	Played four years with the University of Miami of Ohio and seven years in the SPHL, IHL and CHL. Summit Youth Hockey Coach
Larson, Nick	Played for Denver University 2002-2005 and was a two-time NCAA Championship.
MacKenzie, Aaron	Played at the University of Denver from 1999-2003. Played in the AHL and CHL: 2003-14; Played with the Avalanche: 2008-09
Scrivens, Ben	Played four years with Cornell University (goalie). Played six years in the NHL, 2011-16, with the Mapleleafs, Kings and Oilers. Played in the AHL/KHL until 2018. Currently manages the DU Hockey team. Ben will be skating out.
Sejna, Peter	Played with Colorado College 2000-2003 and received the coveted Hobey Baker award in 2003. Played with the St. Louis Blues 2002-05 and also played AHL/NLA until 2013
Turgeon, Pierre	Played in the NHL for twenty years, 1987 - 2007. Started with the Sabres and moved on to play with the Islanders, Canadiens, Blues, Stars and ending his career with the Avalanche. He did serve as offensive coordinator for the LA Kings 2016-2018.
Wakelyn, Marty	Played for Colorado College Goalie from 1982-86. All time CC leader in saves and a former New York Islander. He will be playing goalie for the tournament. After 15 years - this will be Marty's final Summit Hockey Classic.
Westcott, Duvie	Started with St. Cloud in 1999 and then played with the Columbus Blue Jackets 2001-08. Also played with the AHL and DHL 2008-2015
