2020 Summit Hockey Classic Player Application

By Chris Miller, 02/10/20, 1:30PM MST

Dear Summit County Hockey Players,

We would like to invite you to apply to play in this year’s Summit Hockey Classic which will be held on April 3rd and 4th at the Stephen C. West Ice Arena.

As you may know, this event is in its 23rd year and is the biggest fundraiser for youth hockey in the area. Last year we raised just over 50K and as a result, we were able to give more scholarships than ever before including recruiting over 90 Mites for this winter’s season.

Players selected will additionally be playing alongside the amazing Summit Youth Hockey Coaching Staff.

The fees to play this year are $250.00 and may be paid by a business.

(payment is due prior to the DRAFT party (if possible) and can be paid digitally here: (paypal link at the bottom))

The player fee includes:

  • A Sponsored Draft Party - March 10, 2020, (Time 6:00 - 8:00 PM) to be held at the The Boot at Grand Timber Lodge
  • A Custom Game Jersey and Socks
  • Two games - one Friday (3rd) and one Saturday (4th)
  • One practice the week before the Classic
  • Play alongside former NHL and Collegiate Players
  • Each player will receive ten (10) general admission tickets which we encourage you to give to friends and family so we can fill the stands (you let us know if you should need more)
  • Two (2) tickets to the Awards Banquet at Beaver Run to be held immediately following the Championship game on Saturday - around 9:00 pm (pasta buffet, beer and wine)

Our team sponsors this year are:
