Are you a passionate and experienced hockey coach looking to make a significant impact on a dynamic and talented team? If so, we invite you to join Summit Youth Hockey as a Hockey Coach. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who can lead, inspire, and develop our players both on and off the ice.
- Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance players' technical skills, tactical understanding, and physical conditioning.
- Conduct regular team practices, focusing on individual player development as well as team strategies and coordination.
- Analyze game performances and provide constructive feedback to players, encouraging continuous improvement.
- Foster a positive and cohesive team culture that promotes sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect among players and coaching staff.
- Collaborate with assistant coaches and management to set team goals and create a winning strategy for each season.
- Coordinate with other coaches and support staff to ensure a well-rounded and comprehensive training program for the entire organization.
- Serve as a mentor and role model for young athletes, instilling important values both on and off the ice.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in hockey coaching and integrate innovative techniques into the team's training regimen.
- Proven experience as a hockey coach at [youth/junior/amateur/professional] level.
- Demonstrated knowledge of hockey techniques, tactics, and game strategies.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire players.
- Commitment to creating a positive and inclusive team environment.
- Availability for flexible working hours, including evenings, weekends, and travel as required.
- Must be able to get a USA Hockey Coaching Certification, Safesport Certification and pass a Background Check
